Security Matters!
An Aid to Network Recovery Planning
ProtectWare (now known as ProtectPro Solutions) has just
launched the latest version of its network continuity
planning kit. The new version incorporates Internet and
remote computing security, like checklists, logs, and
procedure lists.
ProtectPro for Networks consist of:
• The Network Protection Plan and Tools — a 25- page
disaster recovery plan and 25 tool templates in
Microsoft Word and WordPerfect on diskette.
• The Network Protection Guide — a “book” that includes
computer data security advice and tips.
The kit is designed particularly for non-technical
business managers, and even those with limited security
knowledge. The package is most suitable for managers of
small-to-medium-sized LANs running Novell NetWare in
Microsoft Word and DOS environment but, the company
claims, many of the principals apply to other network
software and Windows 95 and NT systems.
